Now here’s a piece of very useful and very important consumer advice. It’s a Burnout Super Test between the 2012 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 Centennial Edition and the 2012 Cadillac CTS-V Coupe.

InsideLine in the US usually does very thorough car evaluations and reviews, especially with performance cars. The publication tests quarter-mile acceleration, braking, and lateral g-force cornering. One of the latest tests is simply called the Burnout Super Test.

The rules are simple; how many metres of wheelspin can be sustained from a standstill. As you can see in the test, the Cadillac requires a touch of the brake pedal to get the rears really spinning. In the Corvette, it simply smokes off the line with the bouncing off the rev-limiter.
