Everybody’s favourite Mercedes tuner, BRABUS, has unveiled a hefty amount of upgrades for the already maniac S 65 AMG super sedan. Say hello to the suitably named BRABUS Rocket 900.

The headline figures are incredible. BRABUS stretches out Merc’s 6.0-litre twin-turbo V12 for a 6.3-litre capacity. The end result is 662kW of power and 1200Nm of torque. That’s right, 1200Nm. BRABUS has also upgraded the seven-speed transmission to handle the power, which is directed to the rear wheels.

The BRABUS Rocket 900 is 0.6 of a second quicker to 100km/h, coming up in just 3.7 seconds, and 0-200km/h is taken care of in 9.1 seconds. BRABUS has also been nice enough to remove the speed limiter placed on the car by Mercedes, and thus the sedan will keep accelerating to 350km/h.

As can be expected, fuel consumption has suffered a little bit, with the S 65 AMG consuming 17.1L/100km on the city cycle, and 11.9/100km for the combined rating.

There is also an extensive carbon fibre aero package to accommodate the rise in power, as well as a new suspension system that has lowered the ride height by 15mm. Buyers can opt for a choice of 20- and 21-inch BRABUS Monoblock alloy wheels.

Inside, the cabin features the usual arrangement of BRABUS special touches, with a 400km/h speedo, aluminum pedals, and almost endless upholstery options available for prospective buyers.
