BRABUS presents new tune for Mercedes-AMG C 63 S wagon

Mitchell Jones

We’ve featured a number of BRABUS vehicles here before. The German tuning house that takes Mercedes and AMG products into a completely different universe of bonkers, with projects such as the 6×6 B63S, Rocket 900 Desert Gold Edition, and BRABUS 850 6.0 Biturbo Cabrio.

The latest candidate is the C 63 S wagon and its 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8, with this Lime Green Example here looking ready to chew mouthfuls of asphalt.

We’ll start with the cosmetic upgrades first; aggressive rear diffuser, carbon fibre front spoiler extensions, mirror caps and front bar, black badging to contrast the lairy green paint, and black BRABUS alloys.

Power increases from the standard 375kW/700Nm jobbie that is capable of a 4.1-second 0-100km/h sprint, to 480kW and 820Nm, which drops the sprint time down to 3.8 seconds and raises the top sped to 320km/h.

The BRABUS 650 tune is denoted in the engine bay with red engine covers and a yellow heat shield. This might just be the ultimate school run wagon. What do you think? Tell us in the comment section below.
