BMW Netherlands has introduced a special M235i Track Edition for the local fans. Just 12 examples will hit the market, making it a very exclusive model.

The M235i is already a sporty little coupe. It comes with a 3.0-litre TwinPower turbo inline six producing 240kW of power and 450Nm of torque. Backing the engine is an eight-speed sports automatic transmission.

For the Track Edition, these specifications are unchanged. Instead, the unique model is garnished with a host of M Performance options. You get the full bodykit with subtle front and rear spoilers, a black grille, and a lip spoiler on the boot.

Buyers will also appreciate the stainless steel sports exhaust system to allow that inline six to breath loud and clear, while 19-inch two-tone alloy wheels give it a more distinguished look on the road.

Lastly, the interior is dressed up similarly with M Performance accessories. There are aluminium pedals, a fresh Alcantara-wrapped sports steering wheel with its own race display, and splashes of carbon fibre and bespoke textures around the dash and centre console.

Unfortunately, it’s not heading to Australia any time soon. However, the M235i is available from local showrooms with prices starting at $79,900. You can always option for loads of M Performance accessories. See the full 2 Series M Performance kit for inspiration.
