Bentley Mulsanne Mulliner Driving Specification unveiled at New York

Bentley has unveiled the new Bentley Mulsanne Mulliner Driving Specification at the 2012 New York International Auto Show. The special edition is fitted with ‘sports’ accessories, and comes with divine luxury features.

This is as close as you can get to a Bentley sports sedan. It showcases adaptive sports-tuned air suspension and sports steering, with selectable settings inside the cabin, while pampering the driver in Diamond Quilted leather indulgence inside.

Power comes from a 6.75-litre V8 engine producing 377kW, which is enough to propel the road yacht from 0-100km/h in 5.3 seconds. It also has a top speed of 296km/h.

Distinguishing features over the ‘normal’ Mulsanne include a set of lightweight 21-inch alloy wheels with titanium wheel nuts, available in painted or polished finish – self-leveling wheel badges are also optional, ‘Flying B’ wing vents in stainless steel, and cross-stitch leather and ‘cool metal’ trimmings throughout the interior.

Bentley has also announced some new options which are available on all Mulsannes. These include a Bentley-designed bottle cooler for your champagne which comes with three handmade crystal champagne flutes, exquisite LED interior lighting, as well as a new double-glazed electric sunroof option.

Pricing details are yet to be announced – not that it really matters if you’re about to buy a Bentley.
