Beastly Hennessey F-150 Raptor VelociRaptor 6×6 revealed

The 2017 Ford F-150 Raptor is a hardcore dune-destroying machine as it rolls out of the factory. With 335kW and 691Nm sent through a 10-speed automatic gearbox, the SVT Raptor is the most powerful, technologically advanced and capable expression of America’s best-selling vehicle.

For some that simply isn’t enough. Tuners and carmaker in its own right, Hennessey, famous for the Venom GT, has taken something outrageous and turned it into glorious, outright lunacy.

The VelociRaptor 6×6 is on another level altogether, with an extra pair of wheels in the spirit of the Mercedes-AMG G 63 6X6 beseker.

To make this happen, Hennessey has lengthened the aluminium tray with the additional rear axle also sporting a limited-slip differential to keep the 20-inch rims and tyres gripping the road. A more aggressive bumper kit including a bull bar, a set of spotlights that could blind a herd of bison, and more aggressive flares and vents mean this is one of the most intimidating cars to spot in the rear-view mirror.

For an extra charge, customers can get more boost for the 3.5-litre EcoBoost V6, hitting 447 landscape-flattening kW. Going further, giant Brembo brakes, even larger wheels and an array of customisable interiors are available if one requires.

F-150 Raptors are available through specialised conversion workshops in Australia, known to be a pretty high prices, so we can only imagine if you want this Hennessey upgrade it could run into several hundred thousand.
