The Holden Colorado Storm is back, this time in the form of the MY2015 version. It goes on sale in mid February for a limited time only, promising increased value and a touch of personalisation.

2015 Holden Colorado Storm edition

Following up from the previous Colorado Storm special edition, the updated version is based on the 4×4 LTZ Crew Cab Pickup. It comes with a number of features that help provide a premium feel and sporty look.

Standard highlights include a leather interior, heated front seats, front and rear carpet mats, and all functions and appointments given to the LTZ such as Holden’s MyLink interface with Bluetooth and multi-format media support.

On the outside the Colorado Storm shows off a unique black nudge bar and a matching black sports roll-over-style bar in the tray. These give the workhorse that fashionable darkened theme. There’s also special badges and a bespoke bonnet protector.

With the added features, collectively priced at around $3500, the Storm is just $1000 more than the regular LTZ on which it is based. Bill Mott, Holden’s executive director of marketing, said,

“Colorado Storm is a great balance between a capable 4×4 Pickup and a vehicle that looks striking on the road. With this Special Edition, customers have the opportunity to save over $2500 off the RRP, once again underlining the great value for money that Holden is renowned for.”
