2014 BMW X1 gets minor updates

BMW has given the X1 a slight facelift inside and out, which will be available on all new models from next year. The changes include stylish air intake vents for the front apron and daytime running lights as standard.

The updated X1 will roll on 17-inch light-alloy wheels with a V-spoke design and a sparkling metallic brown colour is also now available for the range.

Inside you’ll find new optional trims and accents that come in gloss black, matt coral red or a pearl-gloss chrome, and there’s now a stainless steel sill on the bottom tailgate edge.

If you order the X1 with either BMW’s xLine, Sport Line or M Sport packages, the surface of the instrument cluster is covered with a soft material highlighted by lap-folded seams.

A slight facelift for any car never goes astray and no doubt these optional extras will be a hit with X1 fans.

Prices and model grades for Australia are yet to be announced.
