2013 Lamborghini Gallardo LP 560-4 revealed at Paris show

Lamborghini has revealed the model year 2013 Lamborghini Gallardo LP 560-4 at the 2012 Paris Motor Show. The new model will start production in November, featuring new front and rear styling.

Lamborghini says the redesigned front end “is characterised by triangular and trapezoidal forms – two shapes that are highly typical of the Lamborghini design language”. These highlights can be clearly seen in the lower part of the new front bumper bar.

The new front and rear end help make the LP 560-4 Gallardo look lower and sportier than ever before – it looks like it’s going fast even when it’s stationary.

The 2013 model also wears a set of newly designed 19-inch ‘Apollo’ polished alloy wheels, featuring matt black spokes with machined edges, wrapped in Pirelli PZero tyres.

Drive comes from the same 412kW 5.2-litre V10 engine and all-wheel drive system as found in the 2012 Gallardo LP 560-4. Acceleration from 0-100km/h takes just 3.7 seconds.

Lamborghini says that from 2013, Gallardo buyers will be able to option up to something it calls the Style Package, which comes with high-gloss black paintwork on the front and rear grilles and on the base of the front spoiler.

Full Australian pricing and specifications are expected to be announced close to its launch next year.

This is likely to be the last non-special-edition Gallardo before the model replacement comes in within the next couple of years.
